About Rebeca
Hi! I’m Rebecca, a high school student with a passion for both learning and teaching. I absolutely loved 10th grade chemistry and enjoy helping younger students build confidence in math. This past year, I tutored students at my school and discovered how rewarding it is to explain tricky concepts in ways that actually make sense. I’m patient, organized, and love seeing those lightbulb moments when something finally clicks. Whether it’s preparing for a test or just understanding homework, I’m here to help make learning less stressful!

My approach as a tutor is all about patience, clarity, and building confidence. I like to break down difficult concepts into simpler steps and use real-life examples or visuals whenever possible—especially in chemistry and math where things can feel abstract. I always make sure my students feel comfortable asking questions, no matter how small. A typical lesson starts with reviewing what the student is currently learning in class or struggling with. We’ll work through homework problems together or go over key topics in a way that’s easier to understand. If there’s a test coming up, I help with review strategies and practice problems to make sure they feel prepared. I’m a high school student myself, so I really understand how overwhelming certain topics can feel at first, especially in 10th-grade chemistry or when learning new math skills. I also genuinely enjoy teaching and get excited when something finally “clicks” for someone. These lessons are ideal for students from elementary school all the way to high school who need support in math or chemistry (sophomore year) or who simply just want some more practice in the summer.
