About Maëlle
My passion for chemistry developed from curiosity about how substances behave and interact at the molecular level. I earned a B.Sc in Chemistry followed by an M.Sc in Inorganic Chemistry, gaining deep understanding of chemical theory and reaction behavior. Over the past 9 years, I have supported learners in building clarity and confidence through structured, supportive teaching. I teach with empathy, patience, and adaptability, breaking complex ideas into manageable steps. I use visual aids, logical sequencing, and real-world examples to support understanding. Many learners who initially feel uncertain gradually gain confidence as they recognize patterns within chemical systems. Outside teaching, I stay connected to chemistry through research reading and curriculum development. Teaching chemistry is meaningful to me because it helps learners develop analytical skills and scientific confidence that support long-term academic growth.

Chemistry becomes easier to understand when learners see how chemical symbols and equations represent real molecular interactions. In my lessons, I guide students through atomic structure, periodic trends, bonding, stoichiometry, acids and bases, thermodynamics, and reaction mechanisms using structured explanations that build understanding step by step. I help learners connect abstract concepts to observable chemical behavior.
Lessons are adapted to each learner’s level and confidence. Beginners focus on atomic models, chemical symbols, balancing equations, and basic calculations. Intermediate learners explore reaction types, energy changes, equilibrium, and laboratory reasoning. Advanced learners focus on analytical problem-solving, exam preparation, and multi-step reaction analysis. Each session includes guided examples, targeted practice, and reflective discussion.
Chemistry lessons also strengthen analytical precision, patience, and structured reasoning. As learners gain confidence, they approach chemical challenges calmly and logically. My goal is to help students feel capable, curious, and empowered in chemistry.
