About Hadley
My interest in Chemistry began with a fascination for how substances interact and transform in different conditions. I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, followed by a Master’s in Organic Chemistry, where I developed a deeper understanding of reaction mechanisms and molecular behaviour. Over the past 6 years, I have worked with students at different levels, helping them understand complex ideas through simple and structured teaching.
I believe that clear explanation and patience are essential in teaching Chemistry effectively. My teaching style focuses on breaking down difficult concepts into smaller steps and using real-life examples to make learning more relatable. I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring ideas without hesitation, which helps build both confidence and curiosity.
Outside teaching, I stay connected to Chemistry by reading about new research and applications in the field. This helps me bring fresh insights into my lessons. Teaching Chemistry is rewarding because I see students grow from confusion to clarity, and I enjoy helping them build confidence in their abilities.

Chemistry becomes easier to understand when students can clearly see how different concepts connect and apply to real-life situations. In my lessons, I focus on simplifying topics such as chemical bonding, reactions, acids and bases, and equilibrium into structured and easy-to-follow ideas. I guide students step by step, ensuring they understand both the theory and the reasoning behind each concept. This helps them move beyond memorisation and build a strong and lasting understanding of Chemistry.
Each lesson is carefully adjusted based on the student’s level and learning needs. Beginners focus on building a solid foundation with simple explanations and visual aids. Intermediate learners work on applying concepts to solve problems and improve accuracy. Advanced students focus on reaction mechanisms, numerical problem solving, and exam strategies. Every session includes practice questions, guided solutions, and detailed feedback to support continuous progress.
Chemistry also helps students develop logical thinking and attention to detail. As they begin to understand patterns in reactions and calculations, they approach problems with more confidence. My goal is to make Chemistry feel approachable and interesting, helping students build strong skills that support both academic success and practical understanding.
