About Dan
Hi! I graduated from the University of Sheffield with a BSc in Chemistry (2:1) in 2017. At A level I studied AQA Chemistry (A). I then spent the next year working in an environmental chemistry laboratory. I enjoy teaching and have helped friends and family with maths/science/music learning and have also taught English to Tanzanian children. I hope to start a teaching qualification soon, but in the meantime I'm here to help anyone with their home learning whether that be through online call lessons/discussions, answering email questions or another method. If you need better explanations to certain areas, have exam questions or can't work something out, I'm sure we can work together and sort it out! Dan tutored me for a 4 month period in lead up to my A level exams.
Dan is a highly professional individual. As a person whom has a mild disability I found Dan to be very understanding and a great listener, adapting his teaching to not only cater for my potential limitations but to prosper my positive traits to aid my learning and moreover my confidence.
Increasing my grade from a predicted C/ low B to an eventual A. Dan's teaching style was interesting and engaging and I feel he built a great rapport with myself.
