About Alex
Everyone says "learn from your mistakes". It's true, but they leave it at that. Students often don't know where they made a mistake, so a critical part of the learning process is lost. It helps immensely to have someone gently inform them where they went wrong, so they can identify the misstep in the future. Everyone has had a poor experience with a teacher, which is unfortunate. It shuts students down, so I try to be very compassionate and reignite passion for learning.

I teach any subject K-12, and focus on relevant work, mostly homework help. Sometimes fundamentals may need to be revisited, but I find students prefer to focus on what they are doing in class. No busywork or endless worksheets.
