About Teagan
My passion for chemistry developed from a fascination with how substances interact, transform, and impact daily life. I earned a B.Sc in Chemistry and an M.Sc in Organic Chemistry, acquiring expertise in reaction mechanisms, analytical methods, and laboratory procedures. Over 10 years, I have helped learners build strong conceptual understanding, practical skills, and academic confidence in chemistry.
I focus on clear, patient, and personalized teaching. Many students find chemical equations or lab work challenging, so I break down concepts into manageable steps, use relatable examples, and integrate interactive exercises. My approach ensures learners understand both the logic and application of chemical principles, fostering confidence and curiosity.
Outside the classroom, I engage with research, laboratory work, and emerging chemical developments, bringing contemporary relevance into lessons. Witnessing students progress from confusion to mastery, analytical confidence, and curiosity is deeply rewarding. Supporting learners in developing expertise and a love for chemistry is the most fulfilling part of my professional journey.
