About Amrita
My interest in chemistry began with curiosity about how materials transform and interact at a molecular level. I pursued an M.Sc in Chemical Sciences, where I developed a strong foundation in physical, organic, and analytical chemistry. Over 11 years of teaching, I have guided students through challenging topics by focusing on clarity, structure, and patience. I believe effective teaching requires flexibility and empathy. Every learner has a different comfort level with calculations and theory, so I adapt my explanations accordingly. I encourage questions and create an environment where mistakes are viewed as learning opportunities rather than failures. Outside teaching, I stay connected to chemistry through reading scientific literature, reviewing practical case studies, and exploring new teaching approaches. These experiences keep my lessons relevant and engaging. Teaching chemistry is fulfilling because I see students move from confusion to confidence as they begin to understand the logic behind chemical change.

Chemistry becomes clear when students understand how invisible particles explain visible changes. My lessons focus on helping learners build strong conceptual understanding of atoms, molecules, bonding, reactions, and energy changes through structured explanation and real-life examples. Instead of memorizing equations, students learn why reactions happen, how substances interact, and how chemical principles apply to daily life, industry, and nature. Each lesson is paced carefully so learners feel supported rather than rushed, allowing ideas to settle and connect naturally.
As lessons progress, students develop problem-solving confidence. Beginners focus on basic concepts such as atomic structure, periodic trends, and simple reactions. Intermediate learners strengthen skills in stoichiometry, acids and bases, thermochemistry, and reaction mechanisms. Advanced learners refine calculation accuracy, equilibrium reasoning, kinetics analysis, and exam-oriented problem solving. Practice questions are used thoughtfully to reinforce understanding and identify gaps early.
Studying chemistry develops analytical thinking, attention to detail, and logical reasoning. Many learners become more confident in handling complex information and calculations. My goal is to help students see chemistry as an understandable, logical subject and build confidence that supports both academic success and practical application.
