About Matt
I have 5 years of teaching experience and hold a Master’s Degree in Organic Chemistry. My interest in Chemistry began through studying how molecular structures influence reactions and biological processes. Teaching allows me to share that fascination while helping students understand challenging concepts more easily.
My teaching style focuses on patience, clarity, and active learning. I enjoy simplifying complex topics and helping students build confidence through understanding rather than memorisation. Every lesson is adapted to support meaningful progress and academic success.
I continue exploring developments in pharmaceutical chemistry, sustainable materials, and chemical innovation. These interests help me bring fresh insights into lessons and connect scientific ideas to real-world applications. Watching students become more confident and capable learners is one of the most rewarding parts of my profession.

My Chemistry lessons help students build a clear understanding of how substances behave and interact. We study atomic structure, chemical bonding, reaction mechanisms, equilibrium, thermochemistry, and organic chemistry through straightforward explanations and practical applications. I focus on helping learners understand the principles behind chemical behaviour so they can solve problems confidently.
Each lesson combines theory with guided analytical practice. Students learn how to interpret chemical information, perform calculations accurately, and connect different areas of the subject. Structured exercises and discussions help strengthen understanding while improving scientific reasoning skills.
I create an encouraging environment where students feel comfortable exploring new concepts and asking questions. Regular feedback and personalised support help learners progress steadily. My goal is to help students develop strong Chemistry foundations and greater confidence in their abilities.
