About Amy Hancock | Chemical Engineer
I have tutored students at the University of Adelaide specifically for Process Control and been an Industry Mentor to 4th year students of Chemical Engineering in their final year design project since 2017.
I really enjoy being able to give back to students in a practical way that is not taught in the classroom. I wish I had access to tutors like this when I was at University.
I have worked at several established companies in the Oil and Gas industry, Energy and Defence and I also run my own business in the Food Industry. I have first hand experience of what is expected of a Chemical and Process Engineer once they enter the workforce.
I like to think I can teach my students skills they cannot learn at university and help prepare them for the workforce.

I take a personalised approach to tutoring and use my wealth of industry experience to make lessons practical for students.
I have a First Class Honours Degree from the University of Adelaide and graduated top of my class.
Lessons are aimed at University level students however I can assist high school students studying maths or chemistry.
Typical lesson length of 60 minutes however I can accept longer bookings for more complicated tutorials or design projects.
