About Lucy
I am a Chemical Engineering student at the University of Sheffield, and have previously studied a year of medicine. I took A levels in Maths, Further Maths, Chemistry, Biology, and an EPQ. I am passionate about teaching as I have seen the results of it to my previous students, boosting their confidence and knowledge. I use personalised methods to help students retain the information learnt. I am happy to listen to any requirements from the student, and set relevant work if needed outside of classes, but core foundations will be built during the session.

I can teach depending on your preferred method of learning. If none specified, I can teach content first and then go through exam questions or practice to consolidate knowledge. Typical length of lessons will be 1 hour. I am happy to offer a trial lesson beforehand. I have taught GCSE and A level content over the past few years to other peers, both older and younger, as well as flight mechanics before. Please note: I will only be teaching GCSE sciences, and maths for now.

Lucy was my former tutor through secondary school and A-Levels, and her teaching proved to not only be helpful in explaining concepts, but understanding why steps were taken, as well as giving insight and rpoofs on how some concepts came to be.
