About Ilona
I am a second semester Chemical Engineering student at the National University; I really like science and I was a tutor at my school during the last years.
At ICFES I positioned myself in the 100th percentile in both mathematics and natural sciences, and I also graduated in a school with special emphasis on science.

My method depends largely on the student; I focus on his strengths and try through them to introduce him to mathematics, chemistry or physics to avoid frustration.
In general, I try to encourage logical thinking in these areas and present a structured and clear way of solving easy problems so that the student can take such reasoning to more complex problems on his own. I myself am a student, so, through what is useful to me, I try to generate a learning method in the student.
I focus a lot on exercises, as I consider that this is the best way to learn; however, for subjects such as chemistry or biology I try to bring everything to a practical level (as far as possible), to teach to see the phenomena that these sciences study as something logical.
I try not to appeal only to the memory of the student, but to find with him ways to analyze the problems that are facilitated in any situation.
I can help with homework, in reinforcement of topics that the student has not fully understood or in support of the autonomous learning of students from primary to the last year of school. I have enough knowledge also to serve as a support in pre-calculus or basic university mathematics.

Ilona ha sido siempre una estudiante sobresaliente, le es fácil entender las cosas y de la misma manera le es fácil explicarlas para alguien que no entiende. Al vivir la experiencia como compañera de clase de ella, tuve muchas dificultades sobretodo con filosofía y química, y ella me las hacía entender muy bien. Va a ser una profe especial, que entiende al alumno y lo hace comprender con facilidad.
Es una muy buena profesora me ayudó mucho con mis estudios para la universidad, es clara precisa y muy atenta. Me gusta su método de enseñanza, la forma en la que dicta sus clases hace que el idioma sea fácil de entender. Recomiendo su trabajo para cualquier persona que requiera ayuda para aprender un nuevo idioma.
Ilona siempre ha sido una persona muy aplicada en sus estudios y siempre ha tenido una grande pasión por aprender. Domina muy bien los lenguajes (español, italiano e inglés) y es muy hábil para las materias científicas, ya que estudio en un colegio de enfoque científico.
