About Jos
I HAVE HAD A VERY INTERESTING AND VARIED CARRER SO FAR. I DO NOT LABEL MYSELF EXCLUSIVELY AS AN ENGINEER, BUT MORE A CREATIVE AND LIFE TIME LEARNER. AS A HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT, I WAS JUGGLING PROFFESIONAL SPORT - TRIATHLON - AND STUDIES, SO CAN EMPATHISE WITH STUDENTS TRYING TO JUGGLE MULTIPLE INTERESTS.
DURING MY 20'S, I OBTAINED MY CHEMICAL ENGINEERING QULIFICATION, LIVED AND WOKED IN GERMANY, CHINA, AND CANADA ON A VARIETY OF INTERESTING AND COMPLEX PROJECTS. NOT ONLY WAS I WORKING IN ENGINEERING FIELDS, BUT ALSO TEACHING, THEATRE, AND DANCE. FOR ME, LIFE HAS SO MANY BEAUTIFUL OPPORTUNITIES AND THEY ARE ALL THERE FOR US TO TAKE PART IN. ITS NOT ABOUT HOW GOOD WE MAY BE AT SOMETHING, BUT ABOUT THE PERSONAL EXPERIENCES WE CAN HAVE ALONG THE WAY. BEING INTERESTED IN ANYTHING MAKES US AN INTERESTING PERSON.

APART FROM BEING A CHEMICAL ENGINEER, I HAVE SPENT PLENTY OF TIME WORKING WITH CHILDREN - MOST SPECIFICALLY IN CHINA, AS AN ENGLISH TUTOR. I REALLY ENJOY WORKING WITH CHILDREN HELPING THEM TO UNDERSTAND CONCEPTS THAT ON THE SURFACE SEEM DIFFICULT BUT ONCE EXPLAINED IN A CREATIVE WAY BECOME SIMPLE TO UNDERSTAND. MY LESSONS ARE TYPICALLY VERY STRAIGHT FORWARD AND EXPLAINED IN A SLOW AND EASY TO UNDERSTAND WAY. I AM PATIENT, RESPECTFUL, AND EMPATHETIC WHEN IT COMES TO LEARING NEW SKILLS.
