About Khanya
I hold the following qualification: BEng Chemical Engineering from the North-West University. I have previously held a student assistant position for subjects in chemical engineering at the North-West University for a period of 1 year and 6 months. I specialize in Mathematics, Physics, Information Technology, and 1st-year to 4th-year Chemical Engineering modules. I am a goal-driven person, a self-starter, and a hard worker. I measure my success by the value added in every opportunity I am offered. I believe in excellence, attention to detail, I am deadline-driven and take pride in the quality of my work. I have always had the passion to make a difference in the educational sector through tutoring. I believe that I can add value to my students through my tutoring techniques and I focus on the student’s weaknesses whilst bettering their strengths in a particular subject. I therefore understand the importance of each student’s academic performance and ensure that the objectives of a particular subject or module are met. My methodology includes: . Visualization of problems to make them easier and understandable. This includes translating problems to real-life scenarios to make learning easier. . My lessons are done in English. . I also teach exam techniques. . I prepare for lessons before I start tutoring for that session. . I also give tests after a particular section is complete to make sure that the student grasps the concept.
