About Rachana
I am a software developer who graduated with a 1st in MEng in Chemical Engineering. Since my school years, I have always enjoyed science and maths as it was a way to gain deeper understanding of the world. I achieved 5 A*s in A levels in Maths, further maths, physics, chemistry and biology and tutored students throughout my time at university, helping them also gain an appreciation for science and maths and helping them achieve their academic goals.

I focus on understanding core concepts and fundamentals through various examples. I probe and challenge students to encourage them to think and explore.
I provide both online (minimum lesson duration 1 hour) and in-person tutoring (at my house).
I have several years of tutoring experience in Maths, chemistry, physics, and biology throughout my time at university.
I gain a lot of satisfaction from seeing students learn and grow their understanding and I will do my best to help them achieve their goals.
