About Benjamin
I am a 2nd year MBChB medical student at the University of Auckland, having completed First Year Biomedical Science with a 9.0 GPA across all 8 courses. In CHEM 110 I scored A+ for both the Mid-Sem Test and the Final Exam. Additionally, I gained NZQA Scholarship in Chemistry in 2024, scoring 24/32, one shy of Outstanding.
Having just completed the course last year, I understand that for many students aspiring for the clinicals, Chemistry may not be everyone's strong suit. At the same time, I recognize that Semester Two can feel quite crammed, needing to also balance MMI prep with MEDSCI 142 studies. This is where I believe I can offer guidance and assistance with Chemistry coursework, whether your aims are to achieve in the A range, or if it is simply to take some weight off of other priorities.
I have tutored both privately and on contract for over four years now, helping students from Year 9 all the way to First Year University.

Sessions will generally centre around past papers or workshop questions, and will be tailored to your learning style. You can think of them as little but dedicated sessions during the week to get on top of Chemistry study while always having your questions answered :)
Sessions will generally run for 1-1.5 hours but are very flexible. I understand that First Year can be very busy and so I offer full flexibility from week to week.
