About Me
Hello! I’m Chef Mukhtar Balogun, a professional chef with over 18 years of experience in the culinary industry. Throughout my career, I’ve worked in restaurants, hotels, casinos, stadiums, and high-volume kitchens, gaining experience in everything from scratch cooking and menu development to kitchen leadership and staff training.
My passion isn’t just creating great food—it’s teaching others how to cook with confidence. I believe anyone can become a great cook when they understand the fundamentals rather than simply following recipes. My goal is to help you develop the skills to create delicious meals from ingredients you already have and to understand why each technique works.
Whether you’re a complete beginner, a busy parent looking for quick family meals, someone wanting to improve their cooking skills, or an aspiring chef preparing for a culinary career, I tailor every lesson to your experience and goals.
My teaching style is relaxed, encouraging, and hands-on.
