About Faz
Hello, I'm Faz and I recently just graduated secondary school. I would like to take this time and opportunity to gain some valuable experience in tutoring/mentoring so I can help as many kids as possible to give back to the community as I was once a student struggling in my academics.

I am a strong believer that simply memorising content is not enough to ace a subject; speaking from experience. It is only with deep understanding of the contents taught that is most crucial in scoring well for the subject. In my lessons, there will be simplified notes and brain hacks to quickly grasp the content of what is needed for answering open ended questions, as most teenagers struggle in that aspect.
A typical length of my lessons would preferably be 1.5hours, so as to not put one's brain under immense pressure to perform within long hours, and also to give adequate time for one to fully absorb what's being taught, not too long, but not too short either
For my Preliminary Examination, I scored a distinction in Science (Chemistry) and a B in Pure Biology. With my background as a Pure Biology student, I am confident in my abilities to teach combined biology well and throughout my time revising for O's, l've been scoring close to full marks for my TYS for combined chemistry.
My lessons are mostly aimed towards Secondary 3 and 4 students who require help to brush up on their foundation and also to give an extra push to those who are unable to study well on their own.
