Sometimes theory is hard to translate into practice, or visa versa. My approach will be to break down any problems into basic elements that are easy to understand. Some of the basic accounting principles can be hard to understand when you're trying to follow a textbook. This can be a lot easier when brought to life and explained in a way which both financial and non-financial people can understand.
