You can't stand tall on the roof if you don't step on the first stair. So similarly, I start with the basics & foundations (giving all the rightful information about the history) and slowly and steadily we'll reach to the roof, Yoga Flow, starting from easy Asanas to moderate and then to Advanced.
This is a general BREAKDOWN of an HOUR SESSION (Can also differ from person to person) :
BODY CENTERING: 10 mins
Focusing on Breath, Thoughts, Body Posture, Temperature (body and breath), Relaxing the body and mind to start yoga practice.
WARM UP : 10 mins
Spinal Movements, Warm Up (the joints, muscles), Axe Technique, Yogic Squats, Lateral Bends etc. Depending on the flow for that particular day, will be choosing the sequence for warm up.
VINYASA FLOW : 30 mins
It will be different everyday (going easy to advance level slowly). Hip & chest opening, releasing stress in different muscle groups , strengthening the core, arm balance, body balance, improving flexibility & endurance, etc.
Cool down/ MEDITATION : 10 mins
Shavasana, Pranayama (breathing), Yoganidra, Meditation techniques etc.
Instructions on alignment, muscle engagement, breath, benefits, contraindications in every posture will be given in detail.

Naman is really great teacher and helps your clear all your basics. You can just keep going on with him with unlimited number of classes and his choreographies will never get boring or will never have repeated steps. He breaks in every move and simplifies for the student. You gotta try!!
