About Ojal
I've been teaching students social studies and history-civics specifically since I was in 11th standard myself. Having taught over 100 students so far, I've seen them going from a bored student who barely scraped through to one very interested in the subject and performing well. 65% of my students achieved over 90% in their ICSE History exam, while 90% of them showed drastic improvement in their grades, getting a B+ instead of an F.

I am an alumnus of La Martiniere Girls' College, Jesus and Mary College, New Delhi (History & English- Majors and Political Science- Minor) and Amity University (English- Major). Teaching comes as a second nature to me from hosting book clubs with my peers to creating specially curated educational content for my students. Regarding my professional experience - Worked as a soft skills trainer in major MNCs such as American Express and FIS. Worked as a senior content writer and teacher for prestigious prep schools (focusing on general awareness, English and other subjects). Currently, I am pursuing a TEFL certification, further enhancing my skill set to enable ease of education to my wards, without any boundaries and barriers. I specialize in helping budding students, aligning them through goal-focused methods, pattern recognition and oriented focal points. I also prioritize students with special needs, enabling them with learning techniques and tricks to navigate through learning challenges and creating a customized routine tackling hectic study schedules. Each student has a unique educational path. I prefer tutoring my students online. With that being said, I am flexible with my session scheduling and organizing classes based on your needs, as and when requested. Ojal practices experiential pedagogy and such a combination of fun and learning makes for an immersive experience, which I believe is the best way to learn a language. Her command of the language is commendable, but what really sets her apart are the insights into the linguistic evolution of the language which also piques one's interest in the cultural history of the region.
