About Megan
Hi! I’m Megan, a reading tutor with 7 years of classroom teaching experience and a strong background in individualized instruction. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Special Education and a master’s degree in Special Education. My sessions are structured yet fun, including a phonemic awareness warm-up, a phonics lesson using the UFLI curriculum, and time to apply skills through a decodable passage or an educational game. I’m passionate about creating a supportive, engaging environment where every student feels confident, capable, and excited to learn.
