About Brittanie
As a former college athletic coach turned special education teacher, I bring a unique blend of discipline, adaptability, and encouragement to my tutoring. My background in coaching taught me how to motivate, build confidence, and meet individuals where they are—skills I now use every day in the classroom. As a SPED teacher, I specialize in breaking down complex concepts into clear, manageable steps and tailoring instruction to fit each student’s learning style.
I create a structured, supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and taking risks. My goal is not just to improve academic performance, but to help students build confidence, develop independence, and realize what they’re capable of. With me, you can expect professionalism, consistency, and a genuine commitment to your growth and success.

I’m a patient, supportive English tutor who focuses on helping students truly understand concepts—not just memorize them. I take a personalized approach, breaking down skills into clear, manageable steps and adjusting my teaching style to fit each student’s individual needs. I currently work as a resource teacher, which means I specialize in adapting lessons, simplifying complex ideas, and providing clear, structured support for a wide range of learning styles. I create a comfortable, judgment-free environment where questions are encouraged and confidence can grow. Whether we’re working on reading, writing, or comprehension, my goal is to help students build strong skills and feel more confident working independently.
