About Brett

I have over 10 years of teaching experience and hold a BA along with two Master's degrees. I’m passionate about helping students succeed and take pride in creating lessons that are engaging, clear, and tailored to each learner’s needs. My goal is to not only teach content but also build confidence, independence, and a love for learning. Professional, reliable, and approachable, I work to ensure every student feels supported and empowered to reach their full potential.

About the lesson

My name is Brett, and my tutoring approach focuses on structured, patient, and individualized instruction. I use research-based special education strategies, including explicit teaching, guided practice, and visual supports. Each lesson includes review, targeted skill instruction, practice, and feedback. I specialize in supporting elementary and middle school students, especially those with learning differences, IEPs, or academic gaps, helping them build confidence and lasting skills.
