About Colleen
I am a state certified interpreter and translator with a BA in Spanish. I am a Masters degree candidate and have over 4 years of language-teacher and tutoring experience. I have lived and worked in both Spain and Colombia and can offer a unique-approach to learning this wonderful language.

I design my teaching approach with the students in mind. Every learner has their own style of learning and their own goals that they want to meet, so rather than tell them what they should know, I have the learner express their goals and interests and I fill in the gaps.

Perfect! I'm looking forward to working with Colleen for a number of reasons. First, she really seems to know the intricacies of the language and conveys them well. Second, I believe she will challenge me to be a good student while being supportive and patient. Also, she's providing links to web based learning sites which will help immensely. And, she just seems like a nice person.
