About Stephanie
I have been teacher for over 6 years,l and a total of approximately 8 years in education. Each of my years, as a teacher, I have had a minimum of 100 students. My degrees include: bachelors in history/political science, masters in secondary education: social studies. I have taught 5th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th grades. The subjects are Social Studies, English and history, involving both general education and inclusion classes. As a teacher, I encorporate a variety of techniques including, but not limited too, Socratic method, direct instruction, indirect instruction, project-based learning and different types of media (i.e. Documentaries and videos). I always believe it's important to build positive relationships and get to know my students!
