About Madeline
I am a singing tutor with over 4 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Songwriting, Voice Primary. I integrate modern technology such as DAWs, studio microphones, and vocal processors to prepare students for vocal looping, layered arrangements, and live electronic performance. I specialize in R&B, Soul, Acoustic Pop, and Contemporary Christian music. Lessons focus on lyric interpretation, harmonies, tone shaping, and phrasing to help students express emotion and creativity. I teach both hobbyists and aspiring recording artists, blending technical vocal training with imaginative exploration. Students practice layering vocals, harmonizing, and performing with confidence. My approach nurtures a unique sound, expressive storytelling, and musical artistry. Lessons are tailored to each student’s goals, from refining tone to mastering studio techniques. I provide warm and interactive singing lessons designed for students developing as singer-songwriters and performers of original material. Lessons emphasize melody creation, lyrical flow, stylistic choices, and recording vocal demos. Students also practice basic self-accompaniment on piano or guitar to enhance their performances. Using creative prompts, collaborative exercises, and simple recording setups, lessons are engaging and practical. I help students explore and refine their unique musical voice while encouraging artistic self-expression. Sessions focus on phrasing, tone shaping, lyric interpretation, and style. I work closely with Church Ensemble Players and Crossover Artists to develop performance, songwriting, and studio skills. Students gain experience composing, arranging, performing, and recording original songs. My methodology balances technical development with creativity and confidence-building. Lessons are tailored to individual goals and strengths. Students leave equipped to create and perform music with originality and artistry. Together, we cultivate expressive, authentic, and unique musical voices.
