I am a certified teacher in North Carolina with a Master’s Degree in K–6 Elementary Education and certification in Special Education. With nearly 14 years of teaching experience, I have worked with students of all abilities and learning styles, helping them grow into confident and capable readers.
What sets me apart is my combination of classroom teaching experience, special education expertise, and individualized tutoring methods. I create a structured but encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and celebrating their progress.
My goal is not only to improve reading skills but also to help students develop confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of reading.

I specialize in reading tutoring, phonics instruction, reading comprehension, fluency, vocabulary development, and elementary literacy support for students in Kindergarten through 6th grade. My lessons support students who need reading intervention, homework help, test preparation, and confidence building in reading.
