I have been working in the Accounting field since 1993. I own my own CPA firm and work with many businesses to provide financial consulting. I have tutored college students working to pass their basic level Accounting courses and I have worked with students to assist them in passing the CPA exam.

My teaching approach depends on what my students need to learn. If it is one topic that they are trying to learn, I will focus on the result and then show them the how. If it is a bigger concept, I like to teach by having them do it. I feel that, especially with accounting, doing a process and seeing the end results often helps to understand the theory behind the process.
