About Alicia
Hello, and let me reassure you that you are in good hands! I'm a seasoned program/project manager with 20 years of deep experience deploying strategic projects and teaching project management in Fortune 100 companies as well start-ups. I discovered I loved the teaching aspect of my work, so here I am.
I have a Bachelor's in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Tech, an MBA from Boston University Brussels and a Doctorate in Cross-Cultural Global Business from Caluniversity. For five years I taught PMP Certification, so I can adapt my material to all PM levels. I am also certified as a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, so can include processes improvement elements if you would like.
Lastly, I want you to know that I have tons of project stories -which help me illustrate concepts- from my various global projects. These include transporting machinery to oil rigs and avoiding ethnic faction fighting during equipment installations. I also teach in English and/or Spanish. I look forward to working with you!

My teaching methodology originates in "what do you need from Project Management?" For instance, is it for a new job, a career change, or do you currently have a troubled project? What language do you prefer? (I teach in English as well as Spanish)
Once the motivation is known, I design an individual lesson plan stressing the Project Management topics that will lead you to success. After all my years teaching, I have hundreds of slides, part of many courses I have authored through the years, so we always find the right topics.
Also, I teach all levels of PM: from introductory to seasoned Project Management. What sets me apart are the abundance of project stories I include to illustrate PM concepts. After 20 years of global tech project implementations, I will find a story from some country relevant to your situation!
