About Anmol

Before writing anything about myself just putting my some breakthroughs.
1. One student who was very weak in his GCSEs was failed in his first attempt, we discussed Mahematics and then next year he got more than average grades.

2. Another student from Edinburgh University was failed in his Mathematics and infact each and everyone in his class was falied because of tough course but then we discussed for few months about some important concepts and then next time he passed that course of Mathematics with 60% while 90% students in his batch were still failed.

3. One student from Dubai, was afriad of Mathematics and then we discussed few months and the the student started loving mathematics like anything. etc.

Now something about myself:
I love Mathematics and Physics. I am a full time Maths and Physics Tutor. I have been very good in Maths since my school days and have always scored the top grades. I have a very good experience of tutoring especially in last 3 years. I am a masters graduate in Mathematics and Computing. Got 10 pointer at IGCSE and at A level. Got 9 pointer in my Graduation and 8 pointer in my post graduation. From my school days only, I am very fond of teaching. I used to teach to my friends, siblings and classmates. Those moments made me realise that teaching is not just about having the vast knowledge of the subject but it's an art of understanding the concepts of subject matter very deeply and make it very easy for others to understand. I have successful students from past many years. So whatever your goal is we can achieve it together. Let's do it|

My teaching methodology allows me to teach mathematics and physics very confidently and successfully to every student, from primary to masters level. In my lessons generally I follow a certain strategy to help the student! 1. First I try to know how much the student knows about the subject matter (specifically the fundamentals of the subject matter). 2. Then I slowly try to make the fundamentals very strong because in future the student can learn the subject by himself only if his/er fundamentals are very strong. 3. The next step is to establish the relationship between the subject and the student, means to say that I make the student to go through many practice questions so that they become familiar with the subject matter. 4. Then I make them to use their analytical skills to think by themselves to solve certain unsolved problems. So that they become completely ready for their exams. Also, I teach in a very friendly way so that the discussion is not one sided, it will always be like conversation between two people. I teach subject in such a way that it is very relatable to the student and his/her real life. First Lesson is Free|

  • 1) When did you develop an interest in your chosen field and in private tutoring?

It was in grade 10, when I had my national level exams. During that year, many of my friends used to come to me and they used to ask several concepts of Mathematics from me. They used to say that my understanding of the concepts is very good and I am able to impart the same understanding in simple and understandable form to them. So I started developing interest in teaching because I was able to come down to the each and every students level and uplift them from their understanding.
  • 2) Tell us more about the subject you teach, the topics you like to discuss with students (and possibly those you like a little less).

Well my Speciality is in Mathematics and to be more specific I love to discuss topics related to Calculus, Statistics, Trigonometry, Algebra, etc.
  • 3) Did you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you?

Yes, My inspiration is from many Mathematicians like, G.H Hardy, S.N Ramanujan and there was a teacher in my grade 10, I give him a lot of credit for whatever interest I have in Mathematics. He inspired me a lot in mathematics.
  • 4) What do you think are the qualities required to be a good tutor?

I believe below are the following qualities required to be a good tutor:
    a) One should be able to make students understand the concepts in a very simple way.
    b) One should have a lot of patience while teaching as students don't understand few things, at that time the Tutor should not agitate and remain patient and try to make the student understand the concept through some different way.
    c) He should have knowledge one level higher than the level which he is teaching.
    d) One should be very ideal in character and behaviour and very friendly to the student so that student can open up and ask questions.
  • 5) Provide a valuable anecdote related to your subject or your days at school.

Well one day one student came to me and said she does not have any interest in Maths but she wants to pass the subject this year and hence in the next year she won't take that subject but as soon as we started discussing Maths together with lots of practical examples and we discussed from bottom to top. After a month or two she changed her choice and said she will take Maths next year as she started getting lot of interest in Maths. This change of her choice surprised me and this I believe is a very important incident in my career of private tutoring.
  • 6) What were the difficulties or challenges you faced or still facing in your subject?

Well, as such there are no specific difficulties but I am trying to improve myself to teach to students who are going through Masters degree and its a quite challenging task for me.
  • 7) Do you have a particular passion? Is it teaching in general or an element of the subject or something completely different?

I have a passion for reading spiritual philosophical books and then preaching the knowledge of having a good character and Personality in one's life. And ofcourse teaching is the foremost.
  • 8) What makes you a Superprof (besides answering these interview questions :-P) ?

Well I believe this question my students can answer better than me. So I will write whatever feedbacks they have given to me till now:
    a) One student's mother response was her son just loved my lesson and he never feels bored during the session because the sessions are always very engaging and sessions are just fun and filled with knowledge also.
    b) Another student gave the feedback that in his class most of the 90% students were failed, but he got pass because we discussed a lot of concepts together.
    c) Another student gave the feedback that I am very patient and I am best teacher he has ever met till now, according to him.
