About Maya
I am a formally trained Mathematics educator dedicated to shaping young minds. While many people know math, teaching it to primary and secondary students requires a specific, patient approach.
My Qualifications:
B.Ed in Mathematics: Formally trained in educational psychology, child learning behaviors, and modern teaching methodologies.
B.Sc in Mathematics & 12th PCM: A deep, robust understanding of the subject matter, ensuring I can answer the "why" behind every math rule.
I understand that younger students can easily become frustrated with math. My expertise lies in breaking down intimidating problems into small, easy-to-digest steps, helping your child build lasting academic confidence.

The math foundation built between Classes 1 and 10 determines a student’s academic confidence for the rest of their life. My goal is to completely remove "math anxiety" and replace it with logical curiosity.
Because I hold a B.Ed, my teaching is tailored to how younger minds actually absorb information.
How my classes operate:
1. Building from Scratch: I never assume a student knows the basics. We ensure foundational concepts (fractions, decimals, basic algebra) are crystal clear before moving to complex school chapters.
2. Interactive & Visual Learning: For primary students, I use visual examples and everyday logic to make abstract numbers make sense.
3. School Curriculum Alignment: We stay aligned with the student's school syllabus (CBSE/ICSE/State) to ensure they feel confident participating in their regular classroom and ace their school exams.
4. Parent-Teacher Connection: I believe parents are partners. I provide regular, transparent feedback on the student's progress, weak spots, and achievements.
I provide a highly patient, encouraging, and safe environment where no question is considered "silly."
