About Renee
Hello! My name is Renée. I I am a retired provincial gymnast with 3+ years of experience coaching competitive and recreational gymnastics groups at Gyms across Canada. I have been trained by elite level coaches and have my level 2 coaching qualification. I am currently a Master's student studying Counselling psychology, with a completed honours Bachelor's degree in Psychology. I am disciplined and patient. I am driven to facilitate the positive emotional and physical development of all people using my background in mental health and fitness.
Our first lesson will include a portion for us to get to know one another and discuss your goals for our time together! I will give you some background on who I am and my methods/philosophies, and answer any questions you might have. From there we we do a brief physical portion so I can see where you are at before initiating a plan that I will devise and send your way!
Your goals are my goals, and we are on the same team! I want you to meet your needs as an athlete, and encourage you to explore your options to ensure you are partnered with the best fit for YOU. I hope to meet your hopes in a trainer, and look forward to meeting you soon!

I am passionate about empowering athletes of all ages as they work towards their fullest potential! I create a positive, encouraging and productive environment in my approach to coaching. My sessions would be programmed to meet athlete's specific needs as a supplement to their regular training or as a weekly fitness session. I value both the physical and emotional development that sports and fitness can provide. I am so excited to customize a program just for YOU!

Perfect! Renée showed up prepared and with so much kindness. It’s evident that her psychology background influences her training. In our session it felt like I was really seen as a human being and an athlete. Some other things I appreciated about our lesson were: she showed up with a plan and was able to flex it when I had questions about certain things; her skillet and coaching ability is obviously advanced because she was able to pinpoint my weaknesses and strength to build off of those; she took me through progressions that showed her understanding of how the body works and the mind body connection I need to have in order to perform a skill correctly. I would highly recommend Renée.
