About Πετρούλα
My name is Petroula and I am a Greek language tutor with a background in Linguistics. I offer patient, clear, and structured lessons tailored to each learner's needs. I work with school students (elementary and middle school) as well as with foreign learners of Greek (A1–A2). My goal is to create a safe, encouraging space where students feel supported, confident, and inspired to grow. With consistency and care, we build real progress – step by step.

Hello and welcome! My name is Petroula, and I hold a degree in Greek Philology with a specialization in Linguistics. I offer private lessons in Ancient Greek, Modern Greek, and Essay Writing for elementary and lower secondary school students (ages 9–15), as well as Modern Greek as a Foreign Language (A1–A2) for non-native speakers.
My teaching approach is always personalized, based on each student's goals, background, and learning style. I believe in creating a safe, encouraging environment where students can ask questions, build confidence, and develop strong language skills at their own pace.
I use a variety of teaching techniques:
-clear explanation of grammar & vocabulary
- structured exercises and revision quizzes
-speaking practice (especially for foreign learners)
-authentic materials, simplified texts, and creative tasks
As a tutor, I am patient, encouraging, and deeply passionate about the Greek language. I work step-by-step, building understanding while adapting the content to each student's level and interests.

Η κ.Χριστοφορίδου έχει αναλάβει το γιο μου από την πρώτη δημοτικού και τώρα είναι έκτη.

Very good teacher, with lots of patience and really good methods in explaining things and making the student really grasp the knowledge! She's also fun and makes class less "heavy"! I would definitely recommend her to friends or to friends' kids. Definitely 5 out of 5
