About Floretty
Hi! My name is Floretty, and I’m a BA (Honors) graduate in French & Spanish Studies with Government of Canada–recognized French proficiency certifications. I also have professional experience working in a federal government environment, where clear and accurate language skills are essential.
I’ve always loved helping others build confidence in French. I understand how challenging the language can feel, especially when grammar rules aren’t explained clearly or when students feel rushed in class. As a tutor, I’m patient, encouraging, and structured, and I take the time to explain concepts in a way that actually makes sense.
Whether you’re a student trying to improve your grades or an adult looking to strengthen your French skills, my goal is to help you feel confident, supported, and capable every step of the way.

I focus on helping students understand French, not just memorize it. My approach to tutoring is structured, clear, and student-centred. I use clear grammar explanations, step-by-step examples, guided practice with immediate feedback, and practical application.
Lessons are adapted to each student’s level, goals, and learning pace. With quick reviews of previous material, we will focus on one key concept, practice exercises or conversation, then wrapping-up with takeaways and optional homework.
What Sets Me Apart:
- Government-certified French reading and writing proficiency
- University-level language training
- Professional experience in a government environment
- Patient, supportive teaching style that builds confidence
Who My Lessons Are For:
- Elementary & high school students (Core French / Immersion)
- Beginner to intermediate levels
- Ideal for students needing help with grammar, homework, exams, or confidence in French.
