About Heather

I’m an elementary educator with 9 years of experience teaching in both public and private school settings, in the U.S. and abroad. I’m passionate about making every student feel seen, supported, and celebrated. This structured yet flexible methodology ensures that every minute of tutoring is purposeful, builds student confidence through appropriate challenges, and develops both immediate skills and long-term learning strategies.

My standard spot for meeting is the Starbucks on Yelm and Henderson. If you would like to meet at another location, I charge a $5 travel fee per lesson to cover gas.
