As an experienced academic editor and proofreader, there are two ways I can help you with your proofreading and editing needs.
1. Proofreading Lesson In this session, I will teach you how to proofread your own work. I will:
- Outline the process of editing and proofreading your own work
- Give you some tips on how to structure and go about proofreading
- Go over what to look out for in terms of spelling, grammar, tone, formatting, and more
It is helpful if you bring a sample of your writing to the session to use as an example.
2. Proofreading Service I also offer a proofreading service where I proofread* your work for you. I will:
- Check spelling and grammar
- Ensure consistent formatting in terms of document layout, font, headings, and references
- Provide feedback on writing style and academic tone
- Proofread at a rate of approximately 2000 words/hour
* Please note that this does not involve rewriting or checking the accuracy of your work. It is your responsibility to check with your educational provider that academic proofreading services are permitted.

Perfect! Rebecca did an amazing job of formatting a PhD thesis for me. It was a very detailed job and she really went the extra mile, even documenting changes in a spreadsheet. The paper looks fantastic. She also got the job done well within the deadline. Would highly recommend her and hope to work with her again in future. Thank you very much Rebecca.
- Jools was great to work with! The process was really smooth and easy thanks to her great communication and really detailed instructions that were easy to follow.Rebecca's response :
