About Meghan

Hello! My name is Meghan, and I live in Los Angeles with my husband of 28 years and our two kitties. I have two adult children and a 6-year-old granddaughter, and they are my whole heart! My native language is English, but I started speaking Spanish at the age of nine, when my father’s job brought us to Guayaquil, Ecuador for 2 years. I’ve been obsessed with learning and education ever since I could first grasp a piece of chalk and scribble on my mom’s Quartet chalkboard. In my free time, you’ll find me outside! I love to hike, hang out by the ocean, and cultivate our growing vegetable garden.

About the lesson

I believe learning happens best when students are at the center of their educational journey. As your tutor, I guide you through hands-on exploration and independent thinking, using the gradual release method. Most importantly, I prioritize building genuine connections with each student. I'm naturally warm and approachable, often sharing stories that help us connect because real learning happens when students feel comfortable and understood. Whether you're struggling with concepts or looking to excel further, I'll meet you where you are and help you discover your path to success.
