About Kendra
Learning started at pickin parties in the Blue Ridge Mountains. My path into singing began by listening to older players for hours. I bring 6 years of experience and a Certificate in Traditional Music to every student. I have taught a wide range of individuals who seek to improve their diction, articulation, and vocal health.
My approach covers rhythm, phrasing, and pitch control for pop, classical, and musical theater genres. Sight singing is a skill I integrate into our regular work. I simply love the sound of a voice finding its natural resonance.

Slow progress is real progress. I prioritize vocal health above all else. We review your performance recordings together each month to track growth.
My background at the Old Town School of Folk Music informs how I teach genre styling and sight singing. You will find that rhythm and phrasing become clearer through consistent repetition. I help you refine your diction and articulation during each session.
My 6 years of experience allow me to identify exactly where your voice needs support. I am here to ensure you feel confident in your next performance.
