About Mohammod
I'm a family-oriented Brit of Bangladeshi heritage. Born and bred in London, I'm an avid reader of a plethora of books: western canon, fantasy, dystopian, young adult, history, politics, decoloniality, autobiographies, religious texts and manga. I also like to write poems and stories in my spare time.
I love to travel, learn new languages and different cultures traditions. My favourite movie of all time is The Godfather Part 1 & 2 (let's forget about 3). I've worked with human rights NGOs and was part of a research team that prepared a report on the Rohingya Genocide in 2017.
I enjoy football, cricket and badminton. I cook whenever I am available. Predominantly Bengali cuisines, however I have experimented with Chinese and Middle Eastern dishes too.

My approach depends on the needs of the students. I am a firm believer in student engagement with the lesson content. I lean towards a student-centred approach. I implement 'I do, we do, you do' strategies in my lesson. I like to elicit answers out of students. I provide time for students to do independent written taskd give the necessary feedback.
My lessons are for students aged 12 years and above.
I have taught AQA GCSE exam papers to year 10 and 11 students.
I also teach conversational English to EAL students and adults.
I've taught English online to Chinese kindergarten students for 6 months.
