About Sandra
I am a cellist with more than 10 years of experience playing the instrument. I studied at UNAM- Faculty of Music with Álvaro Bitrán and Gustavo Martín, I also took part in an international exchange at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver.

In a first stage it is necessary to strengthen the technical and theoretical bases that are required to play the cello. This is achieved through developing the students' body awareness, which will help them acquire a proper posture according to their physionomy. The above is important to avoid long-term injuries and achieve a more efficient advance when passing this initial stage. Subsequently the class structure depends largely on the tastes and needs of each student. Throughout the instruction, the theoretical information is offered in a way that it can be immediately applied in the instrument. I have also formed several chamber music ensembles such as Aleph Trio, Iyari Quartet, etc. so I can offer advice for groups that start their preparation.

Sandra es una excelente maestra de violonchelo. Tiene mucha paciencia con los alumnos y nos exige mucho, por lo tanto practicamos siempre.
Me gustan mucho las clases, son muy dinámicas y bien explicadas. He avanzado mucho en la ejecución del instrumento, por lo que recomiendo ampliamente a la profesora.

Recomiendo a la maestra porque es una persona muy dedicada y apasionada por el instrumento y por la música, dos elementos importantes que le enseñará a cada uno de sus alumnos durante las clases.
