I have been associated with Dr Idowu for the past 20 years
In the Mathematics Department, Southern University at Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
He was loved and respected by his students, and was held in high regard by his friends and colleagues in the Math Department and in the University.

I worked together with Femi as lecturers in the Academic Achievement Program (AAP) of the University of Maryland, College Park, Maryland for two years or more. He was teaching mathematics to students who were preparing to enter for a full course in mathematics at the University. The students were of different races and multicultural and they felt proud and happy to be in Femi's class. They all expressed Femi was a great teacher of mathematics and Femi got on well with the students as well as with other teachers, like me, who were in the same AAP of the University.
On a personal level, I find Femi very trustworthy and a good friend. He is humble, sociable, reliable, and dependable, with a good sense of humor.

I have known Femi for more than 20 years as a friend and colleague.
