About Lauren
I have a big family, 9 younger cousins, so I started tutoring some of them when I was about 11. So I suppose I've had 11 years of experience tutoring family and friends of my family. I've taught about 20 kids sporadically over the course of their schooling, from primary all the way to their senior year in high school. Most retain what I've taught them, and have gone on to become exceptionally more proficient in their school work. I am very proud of all the hard work each person I've tutored has put into their school work during and after I've tutored them.

I am 21 years old, and I have my high school diploma and one year of college experience. I left school to take care of sick family members, but would love to get back into the swing of things in the learning field. My favorite subject is English, and I love to read. I am a pretty laid back tutor, but I do make sure my students completely comprehend the material given to them by the end of my sessions. I like to make reading fun, so I incorporate some games into my teaching. Reading is an essential part of learning, but it doesn't have to be dull. Reading can be an escape to magical places, and I do that every single day. I read everyday, and I enjoy helping others experience that magic.
