About Taner
Are you ready to ace your next interview? As a Project Manager, qualified Civil Engineer, MBA graduate, and professional interview coach, I’m here to guide you every step of the way. My passion lies in helping professionals break down the interview process, clearly articulate their strengths, and build the confidence needed to stand out.
Over the years, I’ve managed and led teams, mentored professionals at various career stages, and been actively involved in interview preparation for formal, competitive roles. Until now, I’ve provided interview coaching primarily to friends and family, successfully helping many of them secure roles across a range of industries. My interview preparation lessons are structured, practical, and tailored to each individual’s goals, role, and experience. I focus on helping students or early-career professionals feel confident, prepared, and ready to perform their best in any interview.
1. Understanding Your Goals and Role
In the first session, we discuss:
- The role or position you’re applying for
- Your strengths, experiences, and skills
- Past interview experiences and areas of concern
This allows me to tailor each lesson specifically to your needs.
2. Teaching Strategies and Frameworks
I guide you through proven strategies to approach interviews, including:
- Structuring answers using the STAR method (Situation, Task, Action, Result)
- Communicating clearly and confidently
- Highlighting your strengths and experiences effectively
3. Mock Interviews and Practice
A key part of lessons is practical mock interviews:
- Simulating real interview questions and scenarios
- Providing constructive, actionable feedback
- Coaching on body language, tone, and confidence
4. Application and Selection Support
If needed, I also support:
- CV, resume, and cover letter review
- Selection criteria guidance
- Tailoring answers to specific job requirements
5. Confidence-Building and Review
I focus on helping you feel calm and confident under pressure:

I highly recommend Taner as a maths tutor. He has a strong understanding of mathematics and explains concepts clearly and patiently. He heavily supported me in preparing for my exams and gave me a lot of confidence, which ultimately resulted in me performing extremely well.
I came across Taner through connections whilst looking for a tutor for my sister. After chatting to him what my sister needed for her Maths homework and passing her grades, he had suggested ways to help her with learning such as going through basic questions then progressing onto his homework questions to further developing exam questions. My sister is now comfortable approaching any questions because Taner had taken the time to show and tell ways she could improve and learn in different ways. My sister and Taner communicated weekly about the different topics she would be learning at school and focus at their next tutoring session.
Taner has been a great help, he’s a genuine guy who’ll really ensure that you understand the topics and concepts. Without him, tests and SACs are much more nerve wracking. Highly reccomend!
