About Maria
I bring 20+ years of Australia and Asia corporate experience, including roles in one of Big 4 banks, people leadership, recruitment, business analysis, project management, project delivery, learning & development. I speak fluent English, Mandarin and Cantonese, and I understand the cultural expectations, communication styles and workplace norms across Australia and Asia.
Across my career, I’ve recruited more than 100 project professionals and conducted hundreds of interviews through to offer & onboarding stage. This gives me deep insights into what hiring managers look for in corporate environment, how recruiters assess job applications, how decisions are made and how candidates can communicate their value clearly and confidently.
Having worked closely with senior leaders across corporate environments, I also provide practical guidance on how to navigate and genuinely thrive in the workplace. From understanding unspoken expectations to managing senior stakeholders, building influence and positioning yourself for opportunities, I help professionals decode the realities of corporate life so they can move forward with confidence.

Navigating your career in Australia or any corporate role can feel overwhelming, especially when you’re adapting to a new culture, new expectations and a new job market. I help professionals and migrants gain clarity, confidence and a clear strategy to move forward. With Australian corporate and banking experience, I bring practical insight, cultural understanding and I speak English, Mandarin and Cantonese fluently.
I take a structured and practical approach to career coaching, designed especially for professionals and migrants navigating corporate role in Asia or Australia. My sessions blend clear frameworks with real world examples so you always leave with clarity, confidence and actionable next steps.

I guide you through structured framework, live practice and personalised feedback. Whether we are refining your resume, strengthening your LinkedIn profile or preparing for interviews, I focus on helping you communicate your value clearly and authentically.
** Typical lesson length **
Most sessions run for 60 minutes, flexible to cover any career needs you have (career planning, resume enhancement, LinkedIn optimisation, interview preparation and practice). My point of difference is the cultural lens I bring to every session. Having worked across Australian and Asian corporate cultures, I help you understand the subtle norms, communication styles and expectations that often determine success, especially for migrants and cross‑regional professionals.
