About Anindya
I am an Associate Professor specializing in Cancer Research, leading an active laboratory at a top-ranked, NCI-designated Cancer Center. I hold a Ph.D. in Molecular Genetics and have completed postdoctoral training in Cancer Genetics. With over 20 years of experience teaching and mentoring undergraduate students in biology, I have helped guide many of my students toward successful careers in medical school and graduate programs.

Approach:
- I offer personalized, one-on-one instruction that balances theoretical foundations with problem-based learning techniques. This approach ensures students gain a deep conceptual understanding while developing effective problem-solving skills.
- The lesson plan covers foundational and contemporary genetics topics, including classical Mendelian and non-Mendelian inheritance, the genetic basis of diseases, and cancer genetics. Key cellular processes such as DNA replication, transcription, translation, genetic recombination, and genetic mapping are included, alongside recombinant DNA technology and biotechnology applications. Advanced subjects feature gene editing with CRISPR/Cas9 and the principles of immunotherapy.
-I am known for delivering inspiring and comprehensive coverage of course material, with many of my students going on to achieve success in medical and graduate school.
- The lessons are designed for undergraduate students with a STEM background who aspire to pursue medical school, graduate studies, or a PhD program.
