About Sarah

I am kind, patient, and love keeping things light-hearted and fun as I believe learning should be enjoyable, NOT a chore! However, I do take my job seriously and want to see you succeed! As a language learner myself, I try to inspire, motivate, and find the best possible ways to make this happen :) Finally, I have a degree in Applied Health Science from Brock University and a TEFL/TESOL certificate from Oxford English that I obtained from a course at McMaster University

About the lesson

I do not create cookie cutter classes because I believe each student has their own goals and objectives that will have me creating something unique. I do make sure to always cover a little bit of everything each week, such as: Reading, Listening, Speaking, Use of English, Writing, Grammar.

I had the chance to take English lessons with Sarah for a year, and I can only highly recommend her. Sarah is an extremely competent and available teacher, always pleasant and able to hold interesting conversations on all subjects.

Every week, we alternated between sessions dedicated to English conjugation and grammar, and discussions on various topics. This balanced approach allowed me to significantly improve my accent and fluency in English.

Sarah sincerely cares about her students, their progress, and their well-being. Thanks to her lessons, I gained confidence in speaking English and greatly improved my syntax and grammar, which is very useful in my work.
