About
I have an A* at maths A level after getting a B at AS. I have dedicated a lot of time to studying maths as it is something I find interesting. I completed the GCSE course at the end of year 10 and did a free standing maths qualification in year 11. I have experience tutoring younger years and those in my year at school, I was the designated maths help in our boarding house. I have also helped my sister with her preparations for GCSE and AS maths.

Extensive knowledge of A level maths course, A* Edexcel, also able to tutor any level below. Based at Exeter university studying econometrics, 1st (89%) in Maths for economists. Maths is made easier through following steps and with enough practice everyone can reach their desired level of maths. As a tutor I can help explain why certain things happen, correct small errors that may lead to a very different answer whilst also providing neat and easy solutions and techniques to make questions more accessible. I believe the best way to teach is to go through an example of how to do a type of problem, then ask you to try yourself while guided. Then go through the answers and make any corrections. Homework can also be given to be marked, this would consist of a larger number of progressively more difficult questions.
