About Abyan
I have been passionate about learning from an early age, a passion that has driven my own academic success. I passed the 11+, achieved multiple 9s and 8s at GCSE, and earned straight A*s at A-level. These experiences showed me the transformative impact of the right guidance and support, and now I am dedicated to providing the same for my students. I understand that exam preparation can be stressful, and I aim to offer not just academic tuition but also encouragement and strategies to build confidence. My goal is to help students reach their potential while making learning enjoyable and approachable. With experience across 11+, GCSEs, AS-level, and A-level subjects, I tailor my teaching to each student’s individual needs, ensuring they gain both knowledge and the skills to succeed independently.

As a dedicated A Level student at Queen Elizabeth’s School, Barnet, one of the top grammar schools in the country, I am passionate about helping students achieve academic success through personalised tutoring. For 11 plus preparation, I use a comprehensive approach incorporating interactive PowerPoints, past papers, and exercise book questions to ensure a deep understanding of the material. For GCSE and A Level students, my lessons are guided by the official specifications, past papers, and textbooks to provide a targeted and well rounded study experience. Each lesson is tailored to the individual. We start by identifying specific difficulties, work through them together, and end with practice questions to reinforce understanding. I also encourage independent work to build confidence and self reliance, essential skills for exam success. Sessions are flexible and can be scheduled from 30 to 90 minutes depending on the student’s needs.
