About Lisa
Many learners struggle to distinguish between regional accents when they first begin their Spanish studies. I simplify this by focusing on clear pronunciation and listening practice from day 1. My lessons incorporate mock DELE papers with detailed feedback to track your tangible results accurately. I utilise my background in linguistics and music to help you internalise complex structures.

Clear communication serves as the primary goal for my students, whether you are relocating or just starting your journey. You will find that my approach reflects 12 years of experience gained since graduating from the Royal Northern College of Music. My training in vocal arts and modern languages informs how I teach pronunciation and the distinct differences between Latin American and Castilian variants. I focus on writing skills, listening practice, and business Spanish to ensure you feel confident in any environment.
Because I hold an MMus Voice degree, I bring a unique ear for phonetics and vocabulary acquisition. You can expect a refined, culturally-rich perspective throughout our time together. I stand ready to assist your progress.
