About Linda
Bachelor's Degree from TU for watercolor painting. I have taught many children and still do, even long distance. I taught my nieces and nephews and now I am teaching their children and friends from long distance, I use email for most of my communications with them, we can even just do it over Facebook messenger.

You don't have to be born an artist you can learn. I am pretty open about what I teach. I want to help you realize your hidden talents, then if you practice, even doodling, you can do anything. I have started a web site which sorely needs organizing but you can go there to see most of my paintings and inks & Artist cards. We will start from the very beginning teaching you about color mixing using salt saran wrap straws and spatter. It helps if you tell me what you would like to learn so I will know which direction we will start. The first day, for fun, I will teach you how to make artist trading cards. They are 2 1/2" by 3 1/2". you can buy them at places like Hobby Lobby, Michael's and other art and craft stores, I get the watercolor one. You can also cut your own from quality paper, drawing, painting, and more. Let me know what you have and I will teach you how to get there. I enjoy Art and teaching. I have been teaching children and adults, so you can have your friends or children with you while you learn, so will they. I am here for you and slowly I will get to know you better, and teach in that direction. Personally I like watercolor and inks, sometimes colored pencils, especially the watercolor pencils. After our first day I will tell you what supplies you need, and some just extras, if you want, I will also give you link to where you can find them a bit cheaper. Hollar.com is a good start, I buy inks from them often, not ball tip but usually gel.

Details
If I have to travel more than 20 miles from home I will charge an extra amount, depending on how far, but normally, $.50 a mile, the no extra usually covers Catoosa and Broken Arrow & part of Tulsa. I live between them. If you come to me there will be a $2.00 credit. If email no extra. If by webcam there will just be no extra charge, but I have to replace the one I have now with a new one, around May 5th. If you come to me you will need to bring your supplies, and paper. I use several different brands of paper all watercolor. Cards by anyone. For now check your house for felt tip pens, fine tip, gel pins, any paper heavy enough to hold the paint and water. I'll tell you at the end of your first FREE lesson, as long as you are paying for at least 1 lesson.
